Brian Jaffe began his career as a corporate lawyer at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in 1982 representing major investment banks and corporations in public offerings, leveraged buy-outs, and merger and acquisition transactions.  After five years at Cahill, he joined and later was named a partner at the law firm of Richards & O’Neil LLP where he focused on advising mid-size companies and investors in M&A, securities and financing transactions.  In 1992, Brian was recruited to serve as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Holmes Protection Group, Inc., a publicly traded provider of electronic security services.  In 1997, he joined a boutique corporate law firm which specialized in representing hedge funds and placement agents in connection with investments in publicly traded technology and biotech companies.

From 2000 through 2013, Brian was a corporate partner at Wilk Auslander LLP with a broad practice including buying and selling companies across diverse industries, debt and equity financings, securities law advice, counseling start-ups and growing businesses, negotiating commercial contracts, and structuring settlements of disputes.  At Wilk Auslander, he was frequently involved in projects involving matters outside the United States. He worked closely with clients ranging from well-known multinational companies and foreign investors to small local businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
